17 year old Evan Funk, the Sprint Car Rookie Sensation, is the one of the hottest young drivers to hit the racetrack. In just his first sprint car season Evan posted 3 main event wins, 6 fast times, and made 2 World of Outlaws Features.
For the 2007 season the Funk Racing Team will compete in the Northwest Sprint Challenge Series, selected events from the USAC Western States Asphalt Sprint Car Series, Skagit Speedway’s Super Dirt Cup, Knoxville Tournament of Champions, and the Northwest World of Outlaws events.
Not only is Evan incredibly talented, he is simply one of the most personable young drivers around, a fan favorite at every race he attends. Look for great things in 2007 from the #8E, Evan Funk.
